Getting started:

Training with Aunt Faye's Dog Training begins with a FREE demonstration and evaluation with you and your dog. This gives us the opportunity to sit and discuss what problems you may be having, what your goals are for you and your dog, as well as give us a feel for your dogs personality. We can also take the time to show you how your dog will respond to the training. Please call or email to set up this appointment which can be done at our location or at your home.


This training program is designed to give you complete control of your dog in any environment. We will train you to train your dog to be reliable in the midst of real world distractions. Lessons are taught initially as private lessons and then in a group setting. The following concepts/commands will be taught:

Basic Manners

  • Off of furniture (if desired)
  • No jumping on people or things
  • Quiet on command
  • Waiting at the door
  • Eliminate play biting

Basic Obedience

  • Sit on command (maintaining a sit/stay next to you & at a distance)
  • Down on command (maintaining a down/stay nest to you & at a distance)
  • Go to a place (bed, rug, or mat)
  • Walk with you (heel)
  • Recall (come) to you off leash & from a distance

 



This program is designed for control in your home. We will train to train your dog to be reliable in the house around real world distractions. Lessons are taught as private lessons only. The following commands/concepts will be taught:

Basic Manners

  • Off of furniture (if desired)

  • Quiet on command
  • Walking with you (loose leash)
  • Coming to you (indoors)
  • Waiting at the door
  • Eliminate play biting



Leave your dog with the staff at Aunt Faye's Dog Training for 10 to 14 days. This program allows our trainers to spend the optimum amount of time training your dog. We will train your dog in the real world with real world distractions. Behavior issues can be dealt with allowing for less stress on the owner and the dog. At least one to two follow up private lessons and an invitation to group training sessions are included with this program. Your dog is required to be up to date on vaccines and in good health. The following concepts/commands will be taught to the dog:
